I Survived Chemo Infusion Round 1 of 8

Because of or in spite of 11 different chemicals coursing through my body I'm muddling through the "day after". As my poor family can attest to I'm quite irritable and generally unpleasant to be around though.

We did take some funny pictures yesterday at the beginning of my six hour visit to the "infusion" center at UCSD. I hope to have a full blow by blow published a bit later here when I'm feeling a bit better.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. They're helping.

Dan,
Congrats on finishing your first round of chemo. I can still remember my first round and I have to say it was a tough one. I hope they gave you good anti-nausea medicine to handle the nausea. I had to do a total of 12 chemo treatments and 2 and a half weeks of radiation. I wish you the best and before you know it you will be cancer free!!
Best wishes,
Jane

I saw your blog from a link on Duane's. My husband is on treatment number 9 same staging as yours. So far so good. We hope your treatment goes well too. Thinking of you, Lauren and Family
